Friction Assassin Vol. 1 – It feels like it’s taken ages for this to finally been released but it has now… phew!
Friction has been producing for over 10 years and was voted runner-up in ‘Best DJ’ category at the Drum & Bass Awards this year in February. This surely earns him the right to have a damn fine mix series and he’s done just that on Shogun Audio.
If the first volume is anything to go by, this is going to be a ‘must-have’ series to collect along side the long established Andy C Nightlife and D&B Arena collections.
A staggering (and value for money!) 32 tracks have been packed into Vol. 1 ranging from some ‘hard as nails’ Ed Rush & Optical and DJ Fresh to the beautiful and spine tingling Apex remix of Just One Second. This is something you can bang on at your BBQ or your post-club, kitchen party. Friction has a tight style, shrewd technical ability and impeccable preparation to DJing so expect this to be awesome!
