New Mix Tape Alert! via Dubplatedigest.net
There are some absolute bangers in here and some unknown tunes which I’d love to know what they are!

Well, well, well… look who dragged in the Felines… AGAIN!
After the massive success and attention of the last Feline Takeover, Drum and Bass Arena have invited the ladies back for round two.

I thought it might be nice to link a bit of fresh (oh no pun intended there ok?) new tuneage with some old school 1994 flava.
Link: Blame on D&B TV – Respect is Due!
If you don’t know who Blame is, shame on you! This lovely chap is one of the guys who’s been around since the conception of DnB with hardcore/breakbeat tracks like Music Takes You. Unassuming and hardworking, Blame is a producer I’d absolutely love to work with who keeps his head down, produces original, vocal pieces of DnB heaven and knocks out lovely tunes like Stay Forever and a stunning remix of the dance classic Show Me Love. Like he mentions in the video, he’s working on his album and I have a feeling it’s gonna be one of the releases of the year filled with tracks sprinkled with summer vibes. Can’t wait!
Respect is most definitely due!

Link: Rihanna does D&B?
“Rihanna has decided to move away from her usual R’n’B sound and has teamed up with British drum and bass duo Chase and Status for her “big change”.”
Hellfire! Chase & Status are everywhere at the moment! Even my Mum likes some of their stuff!
Ok, enough exclamation marks… does this really see DnB hitting the main stream with the likes of Goldie being featured at the BBC Proms in Classic Goldie and Sub Focus getting to number 38 in the Top 40 with Rock It? There’s even been talk of Blame being picked up by a major label (unconfirmed at this point I might add, don’t sue me Conrad). I really, really hope so. Imagine how strong the scene could grow with coverage like this. Think about!
