Apologies for the crap version but it’s the only bit I can find. This is a heavy one for the weekend. Enjoy

I double dare you to download this and try and stay still. This is one of the biggest mixes I’ve heard in a long time and I’d recommend this one for the Monday morning drive to work. In fact, don’t wait until Monday, download it now and get it ready for the commute tomorrow… it’s Friday!!

I couldn’t resist posting this little gem after heading into the depths of music production recently.
ps. My vocal lessons are coming along nicely, apparently my voice has a nice rasp in it for all those who are interested…

Ok, I’m a bit of a fan of Makoto and his style of DnB so when I was asked to review his new compilation album, I jumped at the chance. You know it’s gonna be good when you have Makoto picking the tunes
DJ Marky & Friends Presents: Makoto is out TODAY (12th Oct) and from the tracklisting, it looks like a blinder! Shed loads of ‘good-time rollers’ and feel good tuneage. If you want an album to cheer you up now the winter nights are drawing in then this is definitely an album to make you feel good.
And as a bonus there is an exclusive track for download to get you in the mood.
Can’t wait to see Makoto and Deeizm now.

Y’know what? I was really surprised when I listened to some of the tracks on here, I was expecting something completely different. It’s mature, techy, moves away from the “I’ll make some dubstep so I’m down with the kids” trait and just sounds like a well established producer bringing only the best cuts to their album. It’s almost setting a benchmark for all the Producers out there who want to release an album as diverse as this.
Mine’s on pre-release order from Drum & Bass Arena for the bargain price of £6.99 plus there’s a exclusive track available too. Get it done!

Finally, RPM and Pablo are reunited in the Studio to produce another dazzling DnB podcast. Mellow rollers and new bangers with a little bit of chat. Derby, represent.
