Now this is interesting especially the comments about one in a lifetime experiences and music related merchandise. It’s all pretty simple stuff when you think about it – brand loyality, the diehard fans and the big nights at Matter.
Now let me think which D&B companies are already doing this… 10 points to Hospital, Ram and hopefully many more to follow to keep the scene alive.

Saturday saw Pendulum take the main stage at the Download Festival at Donnington Park marking the pinnacle of their cross over career and also the start of the Festival Season so it was only right to feature a post on the Festivals we have to look forward to over the summer.

Probably the most well mannered festival in the UK. I know a few people who have commented on this festival being family friendly and living up to it’s name of being chilled.

SOUTH WEST FOUR / GET LOADED IN THE PARK- 29th/30th August @ Clapham Common, London Village
Not featuring a great deal of D&B but Chase & Status, Roni Size Reprazent (UK Festival Exclusive) and a DJ set from Pendulum are some highlights. If you’re into all kinds of music and you can’t be dealing with the mud, then this festival is for you. They have a pretty solid Trance line-up too featuring Sasha, Digweed, Armin van Buuren, Sander Kleinenberg and Tall Paul. Plus they have Nic Fanciulli who’s is a secret D&B fan, y’never know… he may throw some into the mix!
Prices – £70 + Booking Fee for the full weekend.

CREAMFIELDS – 29th to 30th August @ Daresbury Estate, Cheshire
What can I say that hasn’t already been said about Creamfields? It’s been around for chuffin’ ages and they organisers get it just right every year. D&B on Saturday night.

The line-up hasn’t been released as yet, 2008’s version is still on their site but it’s practically guaranteed that if 2008 was anything to go by, 2009 will be killer. Should really be called ‘Beaches & Bass’.
